Thomas J. Bollyky

THOMAS J. BOLLYKY is Bloomberg Chair in Global Health and Director of the Global Health Program at the Council on Foreign Relations. A former consultant to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and to the World Health Organization, he has served in a variety of positions in the U.S. government, including at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is the author of Plagues and the Paradox of Progress: Why the World Is Getting Healthier in Worrisome Ways.
