Michael Mandelbaum

MICHAEL MANDELBAUM is Professor Emeritus of American Foreign Policy at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. A former Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, he has also taught at Harvard and Columbia Universities and at the U.S. Naval Academy. He has written numerous books on American power and international affairs, including The Four Ages of American Foreign Policy: Weak Power, Great Power, Superpower, Hyperpower and The Rise and Fall of Peace on Earth.
