Michael B. G. Froman

MICHAEL B. G. FROMAN is President of the Council on Foreign Relations. He served as U.S. Trade Representative and as the U.S. sherpa for G-20 and G-8 summits during the Obama administration. Previously, he was Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Treasury Department and Deputy National Security Adviser for International Economic Affairs under President Bill Clinton. He has also been a senior executive at Mastercard and Citigroup and a Distinguished Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
