Kishore Mahbubani

KISHORE MAHBUBANI is Distinguished Fellow at the Asia Research Institute of the National University of Singapore, where he was previously Founding Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. A veteran diplomat, he spent more than a decade as Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and served as President of the UN Security Council from 2001 to 2002. Elected as a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2019, he is the author of The Asian Twenty-First Century, among other books.
