Julianne Smith

JULIANNE SMITH is U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO. In 2021, she served as Senior Adviser to the U.S. Secretary of State. Smith was previously Deputy National Security Adviser to the Vice President and Principal Director for European and NATO Policy in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense during the Obama administration. She has also worked for WestExec Advisors and led the Transatlantic Security Program at the Center for a New American Security.
