Ilan Goldenberg

ILAN GOLDENBERG is Special Adviser on the Middle East, Defense, and Technology in the Office of the Vice President of the United States. From 2021 to 2023, he served in senior positions at the U.S. Department of Defense, including as Coordinator for the Coalition to Defeat ISIS. Goldenberg also worked on U.S. Middle East policy in the Obama administration, including at the Departments of State and Defense and on the Senior Staff at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He has also been a Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security.
