Elliott Abrams

ELLIOTT ABRAMS is Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. He served in senior National Security Council and State Department positions in the Reagan and George W. Bush administrations and as Special Representative for Iran and Venezuela in the Trump administration. In 2023, he was appointed to the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy. He is the author of Tested by Zion: The Bush Administration and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, among other books.
