DANIEL W. DREZNER is Distinguished Professor of International Politics at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Previously, he was Nonresident Senior Fellow in the Project on International Order and Strategy at the Brookings Institution and taught at the University of Chicago. From 2000 to 2001, Drezner served as International Economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. His books include The Toddler in Chief: What Donald Trump Teaches Us About the Modern Presidency and The Ideas Industry: How Pessimists, Partisans, and Plutocrats Are Transforming the Marketplace of Ideas.
